Go Fish Digital and Converge Partner to Unlock Real-Time Insight from Younger Audiences

Go Fish Digital recently partnered with Converge to run their first live research sessions—engaging younger audiences to better understand what drives interest in service and mentorship roles, what creates friction, and where opportunities can connect more clearly.

The project was designed to move quickly from question → participants → insight—without the typical delays of traditional research.

Project Snapshot

  • 2 live sessions (60 minutes each)

  • 43 participants (ages 16–25)

  • 93% show rate

  • 9.33 / 10 avg participant rating

All participants were recruited directly through Converge’s integrated User Interviews panel, enabling a seamless recruit-to-session workflow in just days.

What Made This Work

Rather than relying on surveys or small focus groups, Go Fish leveraged Converge’s live, moderated format—where all participants respond simultaneously and anonymously while themes emerge in real time.

This approach allowed the team to:

  • Hear from a broader, more representative group

  • Capture candid input without social pressure

  • Identify clear patterns and shared perspectives during the session itself

Participants don’t just submit feedback—they watch their input become part of a collective signal in real time, creating stronger engagement and more reliable insight  .

Impact Beyond the Session

The work supports a broader initiative: a network of 1,100+ Student Success Coaches across 14 community-based organizations in California, serving as near-peer mentors in public schools.

Understanding how younger audiences perceive mentorship—and what motivates participation—is critical to strengthening that ecosystem.

Why the Partnership Matters

This collaboration highlights a new model for research:

  • Speed — compress weeks of recruiting and analysis into days

  • Scale + Depth — engage dozens of participants with qualitative richness

  • Real-Time Clarity — see where audiences align while the session is still happening

Converge enables live sessions where 20–100+ participants contribute at once, with AI surfacing themes instantly—so teams leave not just with data, but with clear direction  .

A Strong First Engagement

Credit to the Go Fish team—Alexandra Giroux, Lauren Lowell, and Jenny Frey—for executing a thoughtful and high-impact first run.

Together, Go Fish Digital and Converge demonstrated how quickly meaningful insight can be generated when the right participants, platform, and methodology come together.
